Luca Fanfoni’s artistic career combines virtuosity, historical research and a deep commitment to the great Italian violin tradition. His repertoire ranges from Baroque masterpieces to contemporary music, with particular attention to Paganini, Bach and Vivaldi. Fanfoni has performed internationally, including at Carnegie Hall in New York, and has recorded on exceptional historic instruments such as Niccolò Paganini’s 1743 Guarneri del Gesù “Il Cannone” and the 1690 Stradivari “The Stephens.” His discography also includes rare works, world-premiere recordings and important rediscoveries of the violin repertoire.
